Miniature shetland ponies aka the hobbits

Pippin is a 4 year old mare. She is a great mum to Rosie Cotton. In the herd Pippin is very much in charge and will keep the other all in line. 

Rosie Cotton is the foal of Pippin and Mr Cassidy she is 9 months old. She is very inquisitive, sweet natured and learns things very quickly.  

Sundance is a 3 year old gelding. He is super friendly and is always after food or cuddles. 

Mr Cassidy, dad to Rosie Cotton, He is a 3 year old gelding. The cheeky one of the herd and the most stubborn.  He has the best mane and tail and is super handsome. 

Merry is a 2 year old gelding, He's the first to come over to see you and is the most loyal pony, he loves fuss and is super sweet natured. 

The Hobbits have now joined us, they were nicknamed by their previous owner Jamie at Coldcroft Shires. We have had a lovely door sign made for them.  

 I'd followed Coldcroft for a number of years. Following all the adventures of his much loved shires and The Hobbits. Jamie has had to take the really heart breaking decision to find loving homes for his much loved horses and ponies. 

We feel very honoured to have the opportunity and to be trusted in by Jamie to take on his five Hobbits ( Miniature Shetland Ponies). 

It was really important to us to be able to offer a loving home for life and ultimately to be able keep The Hobbits all together as  their little herd that they are happy and used to. 

We hope that everyone will love meeting them and anyone who is now continuing to follow their journey who followed them over at Coldcroft,  will come and visit them with us and continue to love them.
